Meet julie
owner and principal architect
Born in California, Julie studied Architecture at California Polytechnic University in Pomona from 2008-2013. Since 2015, Julie has worked for small businesses, Buffett Design and 4 Design Architecture and Planning, doing residential and commercial work throughout San Diego county. In 2019, after two large earthquakes struck her hometown, she managed emergency recovery construction that included utility and infrastructural upgrades to water and power systems for the NAV FAC SW In 2022, she finished her final license exam for California and has been practicing architecture ever since. She is an environmental advocate and strives to create a symbiotic relationship between the natural and built environments. Outside of architecture, she is passionate about gardening, her dogs, cooking, traveling and hiking.
